Within the study “Innovationschampions 2017” MSG has analyzed 3500 German mid-sized companies and set up the Top 50 ranking based on a special innovation score. The Munich management consultancy examined in particular to which extend the companies stand out through continuous innovations, have a pioneering role in their respective industry and whether they are classified as innovative through the market, media and competition.
According to Dr. Sebastian Theopold, founder and managing partner of the MSG and author of the study, the traditional family owned company has secured its place among the TOP 50 especially through modern innovation processes and an innovation-oriented corporate culture. ”BEGO has primarily convinced us through its change from the origin ‘Bremer Goldschlägerei’, which manufactured gold leaf for use in fillings, to a globally-operating company facing the market requirements of the digital age successfully. For instance through the introduction of the 3D printer Varseo in 2015”, says Theopold.
The latest generation of the BEGO 3D printing system Varseo S has already received the “BEST OF” seal of the INDUSTRIEPREIS 2017 this year. It offers dental laboratories the fast, simple and cost-efficient lab-side fabrication of CAD/Cast partial denture frames, surgical guides, dental models, individual impression trays as well as occlusal splints, made from resins. Next to the 3D printer and the extensive range of indications, the coordinated portfolio includes the light-curing device BEGO Otoflash, software tools and services.
Additionally, the dental specialist was honored for its 1.400 qm large high-tech CAD/CAM production center in Bremen. Abutments as well as crown and bridge prosthetics made from different materials are manufactured there via laser and milling techniques and are delivered to dental laboratories for finalization.
