A component-related card – the BEGO CAD/CAM Implant Prosthetics Card – is now available for implant prosthetics components, which are manufactured individually and with the greatest care in the BEGO CAD/CAM production centre. Since the middle of August, the card has been delivered with the CAD/CAM implant prosthetics produced in Bremen. To emphasize the promise of “Made in Germany” quality and for unique traceability in case of concerns, the card clearly summarizes all relevant information about each component produced by BEGO.

With the BEGO SECURITY Prosthetics for CAD/CAM implant prosthetics BEGO provides its up to 30 year warranty for abutments, bars and screw-retained bridges and thus goes well beyond the statutory warranty. The warranty is free of charge and includes the uncomplicated replacement delivery of BEGO products in case of verifiable defects.

According to the BEGO warranty conditions, the warranty for CAD/CAM implant prosthetics includes free replacement of BEGO CAD/CAM products for individual implant prosthetics and reimbursement for removal of screw residues in case of prosthetics screw fractures. In case of implant loss, a free BEGO Semados^® replacement implant will be provided, if necessary for dental reasons and the implant manufacturer refuses replacement or reimbursement because a BEGO CAD/CAM product was used.

In the high-tech production center at the headquarters in Bremen, the dental specialist manufactures customized prosthetic components such as abutments, bars and screw-retained bridges for the supply of BEGO Semados^® implants and implant systems from other reputable manufacturers. Users can choose their best individual solution from a variety of biocompatible materials and advanced laser and milling technologies.

BEGO provides evidence of the application of the quality management system for medical devices and follows the strict requirements of ISO 13485. In addition, each new interface offered by BEGO Medical has been subjected to dynamic fatigue tests according to ISO 14801. This provides additional security for the clinician and for the patient.
