New implant packaging for BEGO Implant Systems

From May 2016 BEGO Implant Systems will be introducing a new packaging concept for its dental implants. The new concept will greatly improve handling.

The implant flask is packaged in a sterile blister pack and contains an optimised implant holder with the implant, insertion post and cover screw. The insertion post is adapted for guided surgery and enables insertion of the implant using BEGO Guide master sleeves.

Removal of the components is easy and intuitive. The particular implant range is reliably identified by its diameter and length using individual marking on the cover of the new primary packaging.

We would like to point out that during the transition period, products may be supplied in either the former and/or the new packaging’, said Dipl. Ing. André Henkel, Product Management for BEGO Implant Systems. ‘We would like to assure our customers that they will not experience any difficulties during the changeover in the packaging.’

It is planned to change the implant packaging worldwide as rapidly as possible but the timing will be determined by regulatory approvals.
