Clinical case: Implant placement with the BEGO Guide approach
The following Clinical case was performed by Dr Monika Ziemianek from France. It shows an implant placement with the BEGO Guide approach and the installation of a temporary prosthesis.
Clinical case description:
- Gender: male
- Age: 56 years old
- ASA Score (Saklad): ASA PS 1, normal healthy patient
- Periodontal condition/oral hygiene: poor oral hygiene, accumulation of plaque/calculus with periodontitis.
- Treatment reason: Due to failure of 2 bridges in the upper jaw, extraction of the roots was planned in order to prepare screw-retained prosthetic restoration.
Solution:
- Teeth extraction, implant placement with the BEGO Guide approach, installation of a temporary prosthesis
- Production of the final prosthesis, 4 months after the surgical procedure
- Implant used: BEGO Semados® RSX implant
- Guided surgery: Planning suggestion from the BEGO Guide Planning Center, BEGO Guide System
- Regeneration materials used: naturesQue SemOss B, Collagen Fleece naturesQue ColAid P
- Prosthetic restoration: PS MultiPlus abutments, MultiPlus titanium abutment, MultiPlus healing caps.
