After 15 years of sole management by Walter Esinger, it was decided to split responsibilities into the areas of sales & marketing and technology due to increased complexity and requirements. In future, Dr. große Holthaus will be in charge of the technical division, which includes the areas of automation, innovation management, research and development, operations, production, quality management and clinical affairs. Walter Esinger will concentrate on sales, product management and marketing. Walter Esinger will also focus on responsibility for the further internationalization of the company. "I am very pleased that we have been able to fill the position of the Technical Director from our own ranks and that we are thus creating a great deal of relief for Walter Esinger," says Christoph Weiss, Managing Partner of the BEGO Group. Dr. große Holthaus studied medical technology at the Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences and biomedical engineering at the Münster University of Applied Sciences and obtained his doctorate in production and process engineering at the University of Bremen. In the course of his membership of the BEGO Group, he expanded implant production at the Bremen site and established the surface technology centre of BEGO Implant Systems.
