The BEGO Semados® provisional implants (PI-Line) were designed for temporary restoration of augmented regions and after insertion of standard implants. The PI implants can be removed before fitting the final restoration.
The conical prosthetic interface allows a provisional restoration to be fixed (cemented or removable) via multifunction caps which are polymerised both in the laboratory and chairside in an existing prosthesis or a new prosthesis to be fabricated. A bendable zone below the prosthetic interface enables the bending required to align the interface after insertion. The combined insertion direction that is achieved means that the temporary restoration can be fitted.
- Stabilising of bridges or dentures in the healing phase of the final implants
