VarseoSmile Crown – the First Varseo Material for the 3D Printing of Permanent Single Crowns, Inlays, Onlays and Veneers

At the IDS 2019, BEGO, the dental specialist from Bremen, unveils its first tooth-colored, ceramic-filled hybrid material for 3D printing of permanent single crowns, inlays, onlays and veneers – VarseoSmile Crown.

Based on many years of experience in the field of dental 3D printing, the long-established family company offers a coordinated portfolio of 3D printers, a light-curing device, scientifically tested materials, software tools and services with the Varseo 3D printing system. In addition to their new 3D printers developed for different requirements, BEGO introduces its latest 3D printing material.

VarseoSmile Crown is a tooth-colored, ceramic-filled hybrid material specially developed for the 3D printing of permanent single crowns, inlays, onlays, veneers and teeth, and will be available in seven VITA* classical shades (A1, A2, A3, B1, B3, C2, D3).
Printing and processing parameters especially developed for the resin ensure smooth production sequences with reproducible results at any time. Thanks to a very good fit and due to the smooth surface of the printed objects, a fast and simple finishing is ensured.

"VarseoSmile Crown is characterized by its outstanding esthetics, its natural tooth-like fluorescence and its tooth structure gentleness, making it ideal for the fabrication of implant-supported crowns," Thomas Kwiedor, Director Product Management at the BEGO Bremer Goldschlägerei and BEGO Medical, explains. "The material is approved for permanent applications and has a high strength, a very low water absorption and a high color stability.”
