Mediloy® M-Co – The Cobalt-Chrome Milling Blanks from BEGO

Thanks to decades of research and continuous innovation, BEGO has become a specialist in dental alloys. Additionally, BEGO provides market-leading CAD/CAM process expertise. The dental specialist from Bremen now bundles these skills in its Mediloy® milling blanks.

The cobalt-chrome milling blanks Mediloy® M-Co make it possible to manufacture crowns and bridges, metal ceramics as well as implant prosthetics in the laboratory. The milling blanks are biocompatible and corrosion resistant as well as free of nickel, cadmium and beryllium.

"The Mediloy® M-Co milling blanks stand out thanks to their excellent milling properties, reduced tool wear and therefore lower tool costs", Alexander Zirpel, responsible Product Manager at BEGO Bremer Goldschlägerei, explains. The special heat treatment in the production of the blanks also ensures a homogeneous structure without any cavities or porosities. Due to its reduced hardness of 290 HV10, restorations made of Mediloy® M-Co are particularly easy to polish.

In addition to the excellent, secured properties, customers also benefit from the reliable compatibility with BEGO partial denture alloys, Wirobond® C + SLM frameworks (e.g. primary crowns) and the units milled from Mediloy® M-Co (e.g. crowns and secondary crowns).

The Mediloy® M-Co milling blanks are available without shoulder in 10 mm thickness and with shoulder in thicknesses of 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 and 25 mm. In addition, with Mediloy® M-Ti4 and M-Ti5, BEGO also offers titanium milling blanks.

Until December 31st, 2019, labs can participate in the 3+1 sales action for milling blanks. When buying three milling blanks of the same type and same height, customers receive another milling blank (same type & height) for free. This sales action is available in all EU and EFTA countries as well as in the USA. Further information about the Mediloy® milling blanks can be found here.
