The core of the development was to establish a new implant-abutment interface that offers a precise fit, stable vertical positioning of the prosthetic components, and a reliable connection. This interface was developed in close collaboration with Univ.-Doz. Dr. Holger Zipprich and successfully tested in a chewing simulator for tightness and long-term stability – even after dynamic loading, the connection could be released without tension.
A key advantage of the new system is the reduction to just three color-coded abutment interfaces (S, M, L). This simplifies prosthetic workflows in both the clinic and laboratory while optimizing inventory management.
The system is complemented by a newly designed prosthetic screw that remains in the abutment after loosening – for simplified handling and increased process reliability. To support a wide range of soft tissue situations, prosthetic components are available in five different gingival heights. In addition, the portfolio includes newly developed MultiUnit abutments for screw-retained bar, bridge, and single-tooth restorations. The use of established surgical trays remains unchanged, and the system is fully compatible with digital workflows. High-quality custom CAD/CAM solutions from the BEGO Medical milling center complete the offering.
