VarseoWax Model is the new BEGO resin for solid or hollow 3D printing of dental full and partial models as well as models with removable dies. It replaces the previously offered yellow VarseoWax Model material and is suitable for duplication with silicone or gel as well as for the fabrication of splints, aligners, etc. using the thermoforming technique. "The dimensional stability as well as the smooth and pore-free surfaces of the printed models are the ideal basis for the fabrication of high-precision restorations", reports Marius Kempf, Product Manager 3D Printing at BEGO.
The material also features high physical stability and is easy and error-free to process. "The high material stability minimizes sedimentation during storage and facilitates mixing. This is also an absolutely important aspect for users, which saves them a lot of valuable time and nerves", Marius Kempf continues.
The opaque gray color of the models printed from VarseoWax Model ensures optimal visibility of all model contours and preparation margins. The models are resistant to moisture, can be insulated against adhesive wax, and are easy to clean. Its handling during processing is comparable to that of a conventional plaster model.
The new VarseoWax Model is suitable for processing in DLP 3D printers with a wavelength of 385 to 405 nm. Material files are currently available for all BEGO Varseo 3D printers (Varseo, Varseo XS, Varseo S and Varseo L) and for the Asiga* Max UV.
VarseoWax Model (gray) is available in two container sizes: as a 1 kilogram bottle (REF 41140) or as a 250 gramm bottle (REF 41141).**
