Further development of the SLM process

BEGO customers benefit from an improved surface and margin geometry of crowns and bridges produced by the SLM method.

Since the launch of the SLM (Selective Laser Melting) method, which has been co-invented and patented for the dental industry by BEGO more than 15 years ago, this technique and the indications have been continuously improved. The SLM allows for a wide range of indications for crowns and bridges with excellent accuracy of fit of the metal frames to be finalized in the laboratory.

The latest advancements are improved surfaces of the SLM frames with an optimized representation of the anatomical details, more homogeneous structures and an optimization of the margin geometry.

SLM frames produced in the Bremer CAD/CAM production center will be provided with a quality-assured identification flag, which has to be removed by the dental technician in the laboratory.

In case of any questions about the update our BEGO Customer Support team (hotline) under the phone number +49 421 2028-200 and the BEGO sales staff are pleased to provide you advice and assistance.
