The prize confirms that BEGO was among the best entries submitted for the INDUSTRIEPREIS 2015 award, and now officially belongs to Initiative Mittelstand’s renowned “Network of the Best” in the Federal Republic of Germany. The top-class jury of 30 experts, among them professors, scientists, industry experts and specialist journalists, praised in particular the high economical and technological benefits of BEGO’s in-house developed 3D print system for the dental sector. “We are immensely proud that Varseo has been named one of the top solutions in the medical technology sector in Germany,” said Christoph Weiss, Managing Partner of the BEGO Group. Mr Weiss continued: “As soon as we began exhibiting our Varseo 3D print system at the world’s largest dental trade fair in Cologne, we were overwhelmed by the enormous level of interest and high demand from the dental laboratories. The award is now independent confirmation for us that we really have our finger on the pulse.”

Varseo allows dental technicians to produce splints, drilling templates, CAD/Cast® partial denture frames and individual impression trays made of high-performance plastics simply, flexibly and cost-effectively in the laboratory. Towards the end of the year, the indication spectrum is also set to be expanded with the possibilities for producing bases, models, temporary crown and bridge restorations as well as long-term temporary restorations. In addition to scientifically tested materials, the system is also complemented by software tools and services.

The INDUSTRIEPREIS has been awarded by Huber Verlag für Neue Medien GmbH for particularly innovative and advanced solutions for the last 10 years and is one of the most significant prizes for industrial companies in Germany. This year, the award was presented with the motto “Network of the Future”, and once again the submissions record from the previous year was easily beaten. The INDUSTRIEPREIS is awarded in 14 categories.
